Carbide bit SPECIÁL

Carbide bit with a narrow oval head, fine teeth and a yellow band.

The one way cutting pattern is designed for right handed use. Its narrow working head helps target the cuticle area.

Use

For fine work around the cuticle and removal of excess cuticle; for right handed use.

Professional tip

Set speed to suit the material and bit marking; use light pressure and keep the bit moving.

Cleaning and sterilisation

After use, mechanically remove material residue from the cutting teeth with a cleaning brush. Then disinfect with a product suitable for metal instruments and sterilise according to the applicable procedure. Do not exceed 180 °C during dry heat sterilisation; higher temperatures can reduce cutting edge hardness. Before fitting the bit, check that it is clean, dry and undamaged.

Material & safety

For professional use only. Do not exceed the maximum speed marked on the product; secure the bit in the handpiece and avoid excessive pressure. Remove debris after use and process the bit according to its material and the manufacturer’s instructions. Insert the shank carefully into the collet as far as it will go. Exceeding the maximum speed can damage the clamping mechanism; excessive pressure loads the micromotor and handpiece and increases bit wear.
