COFFIN Medium Nail Tips

Nail tips with a natural tunnel shape and tapered free edge for perfect nail reinforcement. The Medium version is shorter than the Long version, offering a more natural and practical length while maintaining the modern coffin shape. The tips are made of high-quality material, are flexible, do not crack, and adapt perfectly to the natural nail shape. They do not have a defined adhesive area. They are not applied with glue or adhesive tabs – they are not reusable!!!

With these tips, you can achieve instant nail strengthening or a quick preparation for gel or gel polish application.

Application

The tips are applied to the nail using Rubber Gel or Sculpting Gel (soak-off gel) in a thin layer.

WARNING: This is a method similar to Press On – however, the tip remains on the nail. This method is usually used with adhesive tabs where tips are reusable. COFFIN tips are left to grow out, hold longer on the nail and are more durable – you decide the nail art and final color.

• Prepare the natural nail in a standard way – manicure and degreasing
• Select the correct size
• Lightly buff the inner side of the tip using a drill bit or buffer
• Apply a thin layer of the recommended base gel to both the tip and the nail
• Gently place the tip from the cuticle to the free edge without air bubbles – the gel must not overflow
• Cure in the lamp
• Lightly file the transitions around the tip
• Buff the surface for further gel or nail art application
• If a gap appears near the cuticle – file the transition and reapply Rubber Gel or Sculpting Gel over the entire nail (with Rubber Gel no additional layer is needed, with Sculpting Gel a thin layer such as Power Gel is recommended)
• Remove the inhibition layer and adjust any imperfections
• Apply color gel or gel polish
• Finish with a top coat

Removal

1. Remover method

• Buff and break the surface of the material
• Apply remover (wrap the nail with cotton and foil)
• Leave on according to manufacturer instructions (approx. 10 minutes)
• Gently remove with a pusher and buffer
• Clean and dehydrate the nail using Pre Nail Prep scrub
• Apply cuticle oil if no further application is planned

Recommendation: Using the IBX system before application helps strengthen the nail from within and protects its structure even during removal.

2. Refill

• After 3–4 weeks, buff and file the grown-out transition
• Perform manicure, degrease and shorten
• Reapply Sculpting Gel or Rubber Gel – same procedure as the initial application
• Rebuild the shape using builder gel – recommended Power Gel or Rubber Gel for shorter nails
• Remove inhibition layer, buff, refine shape if needed and continue with color and top coat

3. This process can be repeated until the tip fully grows out.
