Sonenschein Iris is a fine glitter designed to create a decorative Sugar effect. The vibrant lime yellow to yellow-green shade is complemented by delicate iridescent reflections that change depending on the angle of the light and add extra visual dimension to the textured surface.

The fine texture of the material makes it possible to create an even, velvety surface reminiscent of tiny sugar crystals. Sonenschein Iris can be used over the entire nail or only on selected areas of the design, where its vibrant colour and delicate light reflections create a contrast with the smooth surface of the nail modelling.

How to use

Sonenschein Iris is suitable for a full-cover Sugar effect, ornaments, geometric elements, floral motifs and small decorative details. The glitter can be applied into the inhibition layer of a UV/LED colour gel or sprinkled over an uncured decorative gel element.

For a more intense colour result, choose a base in a similar yellow or yellow-green shade. A contrasting base, on the other hand, will make the shape of the decoration and the characteristic texture of the Sugar effect stand out more clearly.

Professional tip

For an even velvety texture, apply a sufficient amount of Sonenschein Iris onto the fresh inhibition layer or an uncured decorative element so that the required area is evenly covered. After curing, gently remove any excess glitter with a brush. This helps preserve the characteristic texture of the Sugar effect without unnecessarily smoothing the surface.
